Accommodation

Bermuda House provides spacious high quality accommodation for ten people in five bedrooms plus there is a double folding bed on the ground floor which can be used on request. The rooms are generously sized and most have either sea views or views over the tree clad downs which rise very attractively behind Ventnor. Rooms are decorated and furnished in contemporary style. The ground, first and second floors have oak flooring. All beds have 3 in 1 duvets to cater for the different seasons. Wireless high speed Internet is available throughout the house (WPA encrypted - password supplied), although no PC is provided. Because of the entry steps and stairs the house is not suitable for immobile disabled and we regret that pets cannot be accommodated. Bermuda House is a no smoking house. A high chair, travel cot and small bed are available for young children.

Lower Ground Floor

A front to back fully equipped kitchen/diner with a large extendable table seating up to twelve and chairs, crockery and cutlery for twelve people. Appliances include gas hob, electric oven/grill, full size dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, fridge, freezer, toaster, electric kettle and microwave cooker.

Ground Floor

Front room: a large room with a imposing bay window which has a sea view, high ornate ceiling, chandelier, high skirtings, gilt mirror, original fireplace and retro gas fire, leather suite including a reclining armchair, large widescreen colour LCD TV, free satellite TV, DVD and VHS players and books including maps, walking and cycling ideas.
Rear room: a less formal living room with widescreen colour satellite TV, lovely (non-working) fireplace, a large tapestry on one wall, a settee which pulls out into a double bed, three armchairs - two of which are rocking chairs - and board games.
Cloakroom: on half landing to first floor with tiled floor, toilet and hand wash basin.

First Floor

Master double bedroom: a lovely room with high ornate ceiling, king size bed, large dressing table, mirror, wardrobe, chandelier, colour satellite TV, clock radio, easy chairs and good views from the tall bay windows down to the harbour and the beach.
Triple bedroom: three full size single beds with double duvets, wardrobe, mirror, drawers, analogue television, radio/cassette and nice views over the downs.
Bathroom: with tiled floor, bath with shower over, wash basin, toilet, shaver point, illuminated mirror and ceiling spotlights.

Second Floor

Front en-suite double bedroom: with full size double bed, king size duvet, easy chairs, large dressing table, mirror, wardrobe, drawers, small analogue television, clock radio and spectacular sea views from the bay window along the coast to the west. This room has an en-suite shower room.
Single room: full size single bed with double duvet, wardrobe, drawers, mirror, clock radio and a view over the harbour.
Twin bedroom: two full size single beds with double duvets, wardrobe, drawers, mirror, clock radio and a stunning view towards the downs.
Shower room: with fully tiled floor, walk in double shower, wash basin, toilet, shaver point, bathroom scales, illuminated mirror and ceiling spotlights.
