Bermuda House Accommodation

Bermuda House provides spacious high quality accommodation for ten people in five bedrooms. The rooms are generously sized and most have either sea views or views over the tree clad downs which rise very attractively behind Ventnor. Rooms are decorated and furnished in contemporary style. The ground, first and second floors have oak flooring. All beds have 3 in 1 duvets to cater for the different seasons. Wifi is available throughout the house (WPA encrypted – password supplied), although no PC is provided. Because of the entry steps and stairs the house is not suitable for immobile disabled.  Small well-behaved pets can be accommodated against an addition deposit.  Bermuda House is a no smoking house.  A high chair, travel cot and small bed are available for young children.

Lower Ground Floor

Kitchen/Diner
A front to back fully equipped kitchen/diner with a large extendable table seating up to twelve and chairs, crockery and cutlery for twelve people. Appliances include gas hob, electric double oven/grill, full size dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, two fridges, freezer, toaster, electric kettle and large microwave cooker. An Internet radio, giving access to most radio stations worldwide (without requiring a laptop or PC) runs off the house’s wifi.

Ground Floor

Front room: a large room with an imposing bay window which has a sea view, high ornate ceiling, chandelier, high skirtings, gilt mirror, original fireplace and leather suite.  There is a large wide-screen 4k Smart TV with satellite built in and a blu ray player plus books including maps, walking and cycling ideas.

Rear room: a less formal living room with wide-screen plasma satellite TV, lovely (non-working) fireplace, a large tapestry on one wall, a settee which pulls out into a double bed (this can only be used as an occasional bed by arrangement), three armchairs – two of which are rocking chairs – and board games.

Cloakroom: on the half landing to the first floor with tiled floor, toilet and hand wash basin.

First Floor

Master double bedroom: a lovely room with high ornate ceiling, king-size bed, large dressing table, mirror, wardrobe and chandelier.  There is also a wide-screen HD satellite TV with catch-up, clock radio, USB charging points, hair dryer, easy chairs, coffee table and good views from the tall bay windows down to the harbour and the beach.

Triple bedroom: three full size single beds with double duvets, wardrobe, mirror, drawers, Freeview television, USB charging points, hair dryer, clock radio and nice views over the downs. Two of the single beds can be zipped together to become a super-king bed – please tell us if you wish to use the bed like this, as different bedding is supplied.

This room has an en-suite shower room.
